BRIDGE SCENE
I used this scene in my short film Bridge.
It is a 6-stage course consisting of 5 stages and a final stage. According to the scenario of the short film, this track prepared by the company called Roboduction; It is purely mechanical.
I designed 5 stages consisting of pistons, levers and mechanical scales so that two robot competitors can pass only by helping each other. I studied thousands of mechanical designs while designing each stage. I tried very hard to achieve a unity in the designs.
Since I was going to make the movie in a game engine, I had to limit it in terms of polygons. That's why I tried to capture higher detail with as low polygon as possible. In some regions, I have given the details with the Substance Painter Bake process.
Each stage has an emotion that it symbolizes in the movie. Stage 1; equality thanks to the balance mechanism inside. Stage 2; The saying "together is strength". Stage 3; that they need each other. Stage 4; togetherness. Stage 5; the feeling of trust. Final stage; It is a sign that the greatest strength is unity and friendship.
